The objective of ConsumerForce.Org is to educate consumers and increase their awareness. ConsumerForce.Org likes to work towards educating and motivating the Consumer Industry and Trade to produce quality goods and services and adopt fair trade practices. Also, ConsumerForce.Org is in the process of developing general consumer education and information programs, including publication of books, cassettes, CD's.
The objectives of ConsumerForce.Org also include organization of training programs for students, educators, mass media professionals, and consumer activists, to interpret consumer protection laws and suggest suitable legislation, and to promote better relationship between the consumer and trader/manufacturer.
ConsumerForce.Org is headed by Sri. Yetukuri Venkateswara Rao, B.A., B.L., PGDCL., a renowned judge for more than 40 years in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.), India. He is the founder of and is the leader behind the noble motivations of ConsumerForce.Org.
He retired recently as a District and Sessions Judge after upholding the law with utmost diligence and respect and making a significant positive contribution to the society. During his successful career, Sri Yetukuri Venkateswara Rao held several distinguished positions such as Chairman (Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal), Chairman (District Consumer Forum), Chairman (Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal), Claims Commissioner (Indian Railways), Member (Disciplinary Tribunal, State Government of A.P.), and Regional Legal Officer (Food Corporation of India). Presently, he is a practicing Attorney at the A.P. High Court and Appellate Tribunals, Hyderabad.
